USCIS has announced that as of today, February 19, 2019, the agency will reinstate the availability of Premium Processing for pending H-1B petitions filed on or before December 21, 2018. The suspension of Premium Processing is still in effect for new filings and for pending H-1B petitions filed on December 22, 2018 or later. USCIS had previously reinstated the availability of Premium Processing for still-pending H-1B Cap cases filed under the present Fiscal Year (FY2019) H-1B Cap.
Premium Processing is the often-used service whereby a petitioner pays an additional $1,410 filing fee, for which USCIS is supposed to adjudicate the petition within 15 calendar days.
